Divorce Recovery Support Team

Our leading therapists.

Norm (450x600)

Norm Gibson is Boulder’s original Rebuilding leader and therapist, having led almost a hundred programs and having helped thousands find their way from uncertainty to confidence. Rebuilding Seminars is now supported by two RB veterans and therapists, Ilyse Bloom and Bob Manthy. This is a powerful team, offering guidance, humor, self-reflection and years of experience helping folks move through relationship transitions.

Bob (450x600)

Bob has worked with Norm to facilitate Rebuilding Seminars since 2009. He took the seminar after an unhealthy rebound relationship following his divorce. Bob now leads Rebuilding with a passion to help others move forward and not repeat tired patterns. Bob has a masters degree in Counseling Psychology and is also a practicing Love and Logic Parenting Facilitator helping families transition to successful co-parenting.

Ilyse (450x600)

Ilyse is a 2009 graduate of Rebuilding Seminars and is a certified Love and Logic Parenting Instructor. A mother of three, she has a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition to co-facilitating the Seminar, Ilyse offers counseling sessions to assist you and your family during and after the Rebuilding Seminars process.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of Rebuilding Seminars. They will support you in your small group work, at our social activities, and act as your advocates throughout the Rebuilding process. All of our volunteers are RB graduates who have experienced what you will encounter during our 10 weeks together.

Sparrow (450x600)

Sparrow supports participants in making each seminar a positive experience from first joining our program to connecting with graduate activities. She is a recent graduate of the Rebuilding Seminar and is happy to share about the transformation she experienced for herself and the group as a whole.

The support and encouragement one receives from everyone involved…from the facilitator(s) to the volunteers to the fellow classmates…it is invaluable in moving on with your life, making wonderful new friends and connections and having hope for the future.
